Hand-made and real silver 925, machete necklace with embedded Colombian Emeralds gems. Made in Colombia in collaboration with Padre he Pecado, to honor the strength of our mothers and tradition bearers, who have long inspired our work in preserving culture. The piece measures 2.5” in length on a 15” chain.
In various tropical and subtropical territories, the machete is used to cut through rainforest undergrowth and for agricultural purposes, like cutting sugar cane, opening coconuts, clearing brush, cutting food, and of course, at times, for self-defense.
